Η αναμονή τελείωσε. Χθες στο Hall 5 του Mobile World Congress 2011 ανακοινώθηκαν οι νικητές των Global Mobile Awards. Πρώτη στην κατηγορία των κατασκευαστών ήρθε η HTC που κατάφερε να ξεπεράσει του άλλους δύο υποψηφίους, Apple και Samsung. Παρόλα αυτά το iPhone 4 κατάφερε να γίνει το Product of the Year, επικρατώντας άνετα έναντι των ΗTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy S, RIM for BlackBerry Torch 9800 και LG Optimus 7. Aυτό φυσικά δεν ήταν έκπληξη καθώς η Apple μπορεί να απουσιάζει από το event, αλλά είναι τόσο παρούσα μέσω του iPhone 4 , αλλά και μέσω του iPad, στα περισσότερα περίπτερα. Ακόμα κι αν δεν ηταν το κινητό της χρονιάς θα ήταν σίγουρα το κινητό του MWC αφού, χωρίς υπερβολή το 50% των επισκεπτών έχει iPhone!!!
The Cool Angry Birds
Tα Angry Birds έχουν γίνει τόσο δημοφιλή πλέον που δε μας έκανε καθόλου εντύπωση η βράβευσή τους ως App of the Year on the Apple Platform, ενώ για την Android ως App of the Year βραβεύτηκε το Google Maps.
